Get a Clean Taper on a Site-Built Threshold Without a Table Saw
Ripping a long, shallow taper on a table saw is awkward and worse in white oak. Screw angled blocks to the underside of the blank so it rides the planer bed tilted, and the cutterhead takes the taper off in consistent passes.
