Finish a Baseboard Run With a Mitered Return Instead of a Square Cut
Where baseboard ends at a door casing, a square cut leaves the raw end grain and the moulding profile showing. Cut a 45 on the baseboard and glue on a small mirrored offcut so the profile wraps back to the wall.
