A circular saw bevels only to 45°. For a shallower, longer slope, cut the complementary angle across the board first, then make a square cut off that new face — the two cuts combine into the angle the saw can't reach.

Half of 6-11/16 is 3-11/32: halve the whole number, keep the numerator, double the denominator. Odd whole numbers fold their leftover half into the fraction by adding numerator and denominator together.
