Kerf and Wedge a Twisted Board Flat Before It Meets the Jointer
Jointing a badly twisted board can cost a centimeter of thickness — instead, rip a kerf two-thirds deep down the middle, clamp the board flat, glue a wedge into the kerf, and joint the nearly-flat result with minimal loss.
