Rip Thin Strips Safely With a Miter-Slot Stop Jig
A stop block in the miter slot with an adjustable bolt sets the strip width on the free side of the blade — bump the stock and fence to the bolt, pull the jig, cut. Every strip is identical and the thin offcut is never trapped against the fence.
