Recalibrate Your Miter Saw to a True 90 With a Framing Square
A miter saw that cuts 90.4 or 89.3 degrees when it says 90 is nearly useless. Loosen the fasteners that hold the saw's alignment to its stops, square the blade to the fence with an accurate framing square, and lock it back down.
