Turn a spare wall plate into an alignment template: mark the center of each mounting slot on the back, drill those points out to half an inch, and you can level and tighten every device through the template — no more on-off-on-off fitting.
Thirteen 20-by-20-inch pavers on sand beds make a 24-foot curved path: dry-lay the arc, cut out the sod one paver at a time with a long-blade spade in a sawing motion, set each paver on leveled sand, and follow either a level or the lawn's own contour.
Wrap thread seal tape clockwise, facing the end of the pipe, so the fitting's own tightening motion presses the tape into the threads instead of unwinding it. Wrapped the other way, a connection that looks sealed going together can leak once it's under pressure.
Pull the temperature and pressure relief valve's lever once a year to flush it. If water flows and the valve reseats with no drip, you're done. If nothing flows at all, sediment has seized the valve internally and the only fix left is replacing it.
