Cut Past 45° on a Miter Saw With a Hot-Glued Sacrificial Fence
Hot-glue a scrap board to the saw table, cut 45° through it in each direction, and register your workpiece against the cut edge — the saw's scale now starts at 45°, so every marked angle reaches 45° further.
