Install a Cabinet Into an Out-of-Square Corner
Finding how far a corner is off true and shifting your plumbing-hole reference line by that amount before you drill.
If a cabinet door swings far enough to hit a wall or the neighboring cabinet, an angle restrictor clip snaps into the concealed hinge and stops the swing short — this one at 86 degrees. A few dollars, a few minutes, no new hinges.
cabinet door hits wall, restrict cabinet door opening, angle restrictor clip, concealed hinge opening angle, door bangs adjacent cabinet
Concealed cabinet hinges open well past 90 degrees. Put that cabinet at the end of a run, next to a wall, or beside a taller unit, and every full swing bangs the door edge into something — denting the wall and eventually working the hinge screws loose.
Hinge makers sell a small plastic part for exactly this: an angle restrictor clip that limits how far the hinge can open. The one in the video stops the door at 86 degrees.
