Repeat Cuts Without Re-Measuring
Cutting a stack of pieces to one length from a single measurement — a scribed line at the saw, or an end-hook template that guides the blade.
Technique: Solo Tape Measuring
Measuring alone means the dumb end of the tape has no one holding it. The hook slips off the far edge mid-pull, and if you're measuring from a point in the middle of a panel or a wall, there's no edge to hook at all — so you end up walking back and forth to check, or burning a mark and measuring from that with the math error risk it brings.
When you're done, unclamp and move the square to the next reference point. It turns any spot you can reach with a clamp into a hookable edge.
