Sander Sheet Hole Alignment
Wall-mounted pegs that line up sandpaper dust holes with the sander pad in one press.
Technique: Firm-Pad Contour Sanding
Sanding profiled cabinet parts with a soft foam interface pad seems like the right call — the foam conforms to the contour. But push down and the contact is anything but even: the pad loads up hard on the flats and the crisp outer edge while barely kissing the inside of the profile. The edge is exactly where finish is thinnest, so that's where you burn through — the classic ruined-cabinet-door move.
Works on inside profiles, outside profiles, and corners, with any sander that takes interface pads, and at every stage of the finishing process — the grit changes, the layering trick doesn't.
