Use a Laser Line Instead of a Chalk Line for Long Solo Cuts
Snapping a 36-foot chalk line alone is a wrestling match. A line laser projects the same dead-straight reference with no helper: gauge a few offset marks along the work, set the laser to average through them, and mark or cut to the beam.
