Get Crisp Paint Lines on Furniture by Sealing the Tape Edge With Polycrylic
Before painting up to a taped line on a furniture piece, brush a little water-based polycrylic along the tape edge and give it about 10 minutes to dry. The clear coat seals the gaps under the tape, so anything that bleeds is invisible.
