Bleed-Proof Tape Lines
Sealing the tape edge before the color coat — with the base color, clear sealant, caulk, or polycrylic — so anything that bleeds through is invisible.
Run masking tape around the inside of the face frame sticky side out, then press masking film onto it — the opening seals itself, and a careful razor pass along the tape line leaves a crisp edge when it all peels away.
paint cabinets without emptying them, protect inside of cabinets when painting, keep overspray out of cupboards
Painting or spraying cabinet frames with the boxes still in use means every opening has to be sealed — completely, or overspray drifts onto shelves and everything on them. Draping plastic loosely leaves gaps at the corners, and taping film directly to the frame face eats into the surface you're trying to paint.
