Angle Grinder Spark Direction
Choosing the side of the wheel to grind with so a catch pushes the tool away from you.
Technique: Grinder Disc Without the Wrench
The flange nut on an angle grinder needs its two-pin wrench to come off, and that wrench is never in the pocket of whoever needs to swap a disc. Hand strength alone usually can't break the nut loose — the disc spins with your grip, or the nut has self-tightened from use.
