Pressure-treated lumber carries a UC rating that tells you how much preservative it actually holds. For critical ground-contact structure, UC4B stock — just shy of dock-piling treatment — is a different material than the UC3B on the same rack.
Starting the release liner on housewrap and flashing tapes usually means picking at a corner. Fold the tape's end sharply back over your finger instead — the stiff liner can't follow the bend and pops free at the crease. Works on any brand.
