Hang a Picture by Threading a String Through Its D-Ring Hangers
D-rings mounted in the middle of a frame can't be seen or felt once the picture is against the wall. Loop a string round the screw, run both ends through the D-ring, and use it as a guide rail that pulls the ring onto the screw — then whip the string out.
