Remove a Damaged Siding Board Without Cracking the Course Above
To pull a damaged clapboard you first have to release the course above it. Pry that board up half an inch, tap each nail sideways to kink it, then tap the board flat — the kinked nails stand proud instead of reseating, ready to pull.
